RealTime Racing Claims Another Speed World Challenge Championship
Powered by Acura, the RealTime Racing team clocked its competition in the SCCA's Speed World Challenge Touring Car category.
Peter Cunningham captured the title with consistency as his one victory was complemented by six other podium results and he never finished outside the Top 10 in 11 starts. Teammate Pierre Kleinubing earned a season-best three wins to take third in the standings, while Brandon Davis copped top rookie honors and finished fourth in the points.
Eric Curran, with one win, wound up fifth in the standings as RealTime's drivers claimed 15 of the possible 33 podium spots over the course of the 11-race season.
Acura whipped Mazda and BMW for its fifth manufacturers' title and it was the ninth crown for the RealTime team in it's 13 years in the series.
