Honda and Georgia: Driving the Dream

Tallapoosa, Ga. - Honda Precision Parts of Georgia, LLC (HPPG), together with Georgia state and local officials, today celebrated the start of mass production of five-speed transmissions at its West Georgia facility in Haralson County. At the plant dedication ceremony, the company announced plans to expand production capabilities - increasing its original $100 million investment to $150 million as well as an increase in its employee base from 400 associates to 440 associates. The company also announced plans for expansion of the factory's footprint from 250,000 square feet to 350,000 square feet.
