Honda Precision Parts of Georgia Groundbreaking

TALLAPOOSA, Ga. - Honda executives and Georgia officials break ground at the site of the new Honda Precision Parts of Georgia, LLC (HPPG) transmission manufacturing facility in Tallapoosa, Georgia. The $100 million facility is scheduled to begin production in spring of 2006. Initially, the facility will support production of Honda Odyssey minivans and Pilot SUVs at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC (HMA) in Lincoln, Alabama. The 250,000-square-foot Georgia facility will be HondaÕs 13th major plant in North America.
