As the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB) Invitational Showcase that was scheduled to take place in January in Atlanta. Our top priority remains the health and safety of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) marching bands and representatives, fans, and staff that make this annual event possible.
Honda has assessed the situation, and based on the preparation required for HBOB combined with continuing uncertainty about future conditions to safely host a live event of its size, we are unable to move forward with the event as planned.
