Eiji Fujimura

President & CEO and Director American Honda Motor Co., Inc., and Senior Managing Executive and Chief Officer Regional Operations (North America) Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Eiji Fujimura is the president & CEO and director of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), and the chief officer of Regional Operations (North America) for parent company Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Fujimura joined the Honda Motor Co., Ltd., in April 1993, initially assigned to the Plant Accounting Division at the Hamamatsu Factory. 

Over the next 25 years, he would hold a variety of positions, primarily in accounting and finance – this includes working in accounting at Honda of America Mfg. in Marysville, Ohio, (now Honda Development & Manufacturing of America) from 2001 to 2004.

In April 2017, he became general manager of the Finance Division for Business Management Operations.

In April 2019, Fujimura became the general manager of the Regional Operation Planning Division for North American Regional Operations for Honda Motor Co., on assignment in the United States.

In April 2021, he returned to Japan and became the chief officer for Business Management Operations and general manager of the Accounting Division for Business Management Operations, as well as an operating executive for Honda Motor Co.

In April 2022, Fujimura became head of the Accounting and Finance Supervisory Unit.

In April 2023, he was promoted to chief financial officer and chief officer, Corporate Administration Operations, and an executive officer of Honda Motor Co.

In April 2024, Fujimura became a managing executive officer of Honda Motor Co.

In June 2024, he became a director of Honda Motor Co., in addition to managing executive officer, chief financial officer, chief officer for Corporate Administration Operations and a member of the Compensation Committee.

In April 2026, Fujimura became the president & CEO and director of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., senior managing executive and chief officer of Regional Operations (North America) for Honda Motor Co.
