American Honda Announces New Auto Sales Leadership Team

American Honda today announced a new Auto Sales leadership team, including for the Honda and Acura National Sales organizations.  The leadership changes became effective June 10, 2024.

Lance Woelfer, who has worked closely with Honda and Acura dealers for over 25 years, is the new vice president of Auto Sales. Woelfer has deep knowledge of both the Honda and Acura brands and experience in implementing the company's electrification strategy. The assistant vice president of Honda National Sales for the past 18 months, Woelfer also has served as region manager of the Western Region, where he led both Honda and Acura sales and parts and service teams in 16 western states. Prior to that, he served as zone sales manager of the Northwest and Mid-Atlantic zones.

Daryl Bazemore, the new assistant vice president of Sales Strategy, brings 15 years of experience with American Honda. Formerly overseeing the Western Region, Bazemore has served in a variety of roles for both the Honda and Acura field organizations and Honda National Sales, where he had leadership roles in Sales Training, Retail Network Development and Market Representation. 

Jessika Laudermilk, the new assistant vice president of Honda National Sales, formerly served as assistant vice president of the Marketing Division, where she was responsible for marketing operations for both the Honda and Acura brands.  Prior to that Laudermilk led Honda Marketing and Honda Regional Marketing. She has worked in a variety of field and sales roles for nearly 20 years, including working closely with Honda dealers on the West Coast as assistant zone manager for Business Improvement and later as assistant zone manager of Market Representation.

Mike Langel, the new assistant vice president of Acura National Sales, has almost 16 years of experience at American Honda.  Formerly the managing the Southeast Region, Langel has served in a variety of roles for both the Honda and Acura field organizations, including as a senior district manager for Honda and assistant zone manager for Business Improvement, as well as assistant manager for Sales & Incentives with Acura National Sales, before becoming an Acura zone manager.
