Mamadou Diallo is the senior vice president of Auto Sales of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), with responsibility for Honda and Acura Automobile Sales, Sales Planning, Logistics, Sales Strategy and Product Communications.

Diallo joined Honda in 2001, through the company’s National Trainee program.

In 2002, he became a sales analyst in the Honda Auto Sales Division for the Mid-Atlantic region and was subsequently promoted to district sales manager. 

In 2005, Diallo moved to the Acura Sales Division as a senior district sales manager for the Southwest region. 

In 2012, he became a rotational assistant manager at American Honda headquarters in Torrance, Calif., gaining experience in multiple business areas within the Auto Sales Division, including the Sales Training Department and the Marketing Planning Department.

In July 2014, Diallo took on a new role as assistant manager of business development in the Southwest region in the Acura Sales Division, and subsequently assumed the role of assistant manager of market representation in February 2015.

In October 2015, Diallo became Acura zone sales manager for 14 states in the Central region, working with Acura dealers to strengthen retail sales in the region.

In April 2017, he became senior manager of Acura National Sales, overseeing all U.S. sales activities for the Acura brand and helping implement Acura’s return to Precision Crafted Performance.

In October 2019, Diallo became the assistant vice president of Acura National Sales, Incentives and Strategy.

In April 2021, he was promoted to vice president, Auto Operations, overseeing Product Planning, Sales & Production Planning and Logistics for Honda and Acura automobiles.

In April 2022, Diallo became vice president of Auto Sales, responsible for Honda and Acura U.S. Sales Operations, including Market Representation, Vehicle Distribution and Logistics.

In April 2023, Diallo was promoted to his current role as senior vice president, Auto Sales, taking on additional responsibility for the new Product Communications Division, which includes Public Relations, Dealer Communications and Sales Training.

In addition to his role at AHM, Diallo serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Automotive Innovation. In addition, he also is a member of the Honda Performance Development (HPD) board. HPD leads all of the Honda and Acura high-performance racing programs in North America.

Diallo holds a degree in business administration and post-graduate study from the University of the District of Columbia.
