Kelvin Fu is president of Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US), where he oversees all Honda and Acura North American racing, and business activities, including the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMSA Championship, and works directly with company's partner racing teams.
Fu joined HRC US, then Honda Performance Development (HPD), in 2015 managing the chassis design, aerodynamics and the performance engineering groups. While in this role, Fu’s groups developed the Acura NSX GT3, ARX-05 and supported the introduction of the IndyCar AK18 Aerokit.
In 2020, Fu became program director, responsible for the HRC US Program Management Office, as well as the Trackside Support and Commercial Groups responsible for race car and powertrain development, in addition to supporting all HRC US race teams and customers.
In 2021, he was promoted to vice president of HRC US, where he co-ran the Honda and Acura motorsports programs, as well as the future direction for Honda and Acura racing business in the U.S. Fu also was responsible for overseeing engineering, production and program management.
In 2026, he assumed his current role as president of HRC US, where he oversees both Honda and Acura North American racing and the HRC US Business Division, driving the strategic direction of all racing and commercial activities.
Prior to joining Honda, Fu held roles in the defense and aerospace industries.
Fu holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
