Dog-Friendly Honda Element Concept Debuts at NYIAS

New York - April 9, 2009 - American Honda Senior Product Planner James Jenkins unveiled a dog-friendly Honda Element concept at the New York International Auto Show today. With new dog transportation features, Honda Element will be available with Dog Friendly(TM) components designed to pamper traveling canines. Features include; a cushioned pet bed in the cargo area, second-row and cargo area pet restraint systems, an extendable cargo ramp, dog-patterned second-row seat covers, a toy bone patterned rubber floor mat, a spill-resistent water bowl and a 12V DC rear ventilation fan. A finalized version of the Dog Friendly Element is schedule to debut this fall as the ultimate dog car, according to Jenkins.
