Honda Power Equipment Introduces A New Generation Of Trash Pumps

Honda's Power Equipment Division's newest generation of WT trash pumps have been re-engineered for even greater output capacity, durability, and serviceability to meet the rigorous demands of the construction market. The new pumps are available nationwide.

Honda's WT20XK3, WT30XK3, and WT40XK3 have maintained their compact design while the WT30XK3 delivers a delivery rate of 319 gallons per minute. All three pumps will be offered without a price increase over the previous generation.

"Honda has built the brand on industry-leading durability, quality, and reliability," said Steve Bailey, Honda Power Equipment assistant vice president. "Our new generation of trash pumps is an example of our commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining a leadership position."

The pumps employ a new conical impeller that allows for greater discharge durability and higher discharge capacity over extended periods of time, and in combination with a unique self priming pump, provides for superior priming performance. Durability has been further enhanced through the use of a new seal with high resistance to sandy and muddy water.

Serviceability has been improved with the addition of a unique wear plate and a pump design that allows for easy removal of the impeller. Additionally, the pump case tightens at only four points for easy removal and refit. Honda now includes a special wrench for the tightening and removal of the pump case, priming and drain plugs, and hose coupling.

Honda Power Equipment offers a complete line of water pumps with output ranging from 40 to 433 gallons per minute for a variety of commercial and construction applications. In keeping with Honda's tradition of technological and environmental leadership, all Honda pumps feature advanced four-stroke engines with low emissions and unparalleled fuel economy.
