Jennifer Thomas is the vice president of Corporate Affairs of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), where she oversees Government & Industry Relations, North American Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusion & Diversity.
Thomas joined Honda North America, Inc. (HNA) in 2019 as vice president of Government and Industry Relations, overseeing the company's legislative affairs, advocacy and public policy efforts for state and federal matters.
In 2020, HNA was merged and integrated into AHM as part of a corporate restructuring, and the Government and Industry Relations division became part of AHM.
In 2021, she assumed her current role leading all of Honda’s Corporate Affairs activities.
Thomas also serves as Honda's top liaison to the White House, as well as Honda's lead representative to the company's major trade associations, including the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, Autos Drive America and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute.
Prior to joining Honda, Thomas was the vice president of Federal Government Affairs at the former Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, a major automotive trade association. She played a role in the development and implementation of various policies impacting the automotive industry on environment, safety, logistics and trade-related issues.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Thomas served as manager of grassroots and legislative affairs with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).
Thomas has a B.A. in Psychology from The George Washington University.
