At HNA, Kathy H. Jones, currently Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC, will join HNA's board of directors in July immediately following HNA's annual shareholders meeting, July 6, 2004. Further, effective August 1st, Jones will be appointed as Vice President of HNA, where she will be responsible for Audit Operations for the company. Her responsibilities will include internal audits, ensuring compliance with financial and corporate governance regulations and confirming adherence to established business plan objectives for all Honda's North American group companies. Jones joined Honda in 1997, as a general manager at Honda of America Mfg., moving to Alabama in 2001 to help establish Honda Manufacturing of Alabama.
Based in Torrance, California, HNA is a U.S. - based wholly owned subsidiary
of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and is comprised of service and coordinating functions
for Honda's North American operations, including Audit, Legal, Risk Management,
Public Relations, and Government and Industry Relations. The current HNA board
members represent all of Honda's major companies within Honda's North American

At Honda of America Mfg., headquartered in Marysville, Ohio, Larry Jutte, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Purchasing, will be appointed to the Honda of America Mfg. board of directors in July, immediately following the company's shareholders' meeting, July 8, 2004. Jutte joined Honda of America in 1985 and has served the company in a variety of positions, including plant manager of both the Anna Engine Plant and East Liberty Auto Plant. He now heads Purchasing for Honda's North American manufacturing operations.
Honda of America Mfg., a subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., will celebrate its 25th anniversary in September 2004. Honda of America's operations currently include a motorcycle plant, two auto plants, and an engine plant - with the company also playing a leadership role with Honda's North American manufacturing operations.
