American Honda Posts Strong Sales Despite Industrywide Impact of Dealer Software Cyberattack

  • American Honda sales up 1.1% in June to 112,742 units, YTD sales up 9.3% over the first 6 months of 2023
  • Honda brand sales top 100,000 in June, up 4.1% for the month, 5.2% for 2Q and over 12% for the year
  • CR-V tops 31,000 units for 5th straight month, with 52% of June sales hybrid-electric
  • HR-V sales remain strong, up 22% in June to 11,110 units; up almost 40% in 2Q and over 40% for the year
  • Pilot sales top 11,700 units in June, up 19% for the year; Odyssey nears 7,000 units, up 32% vs June 2023
  • Prologue June sales of 830 units, push total over 1,500 units after two months as national roll-out continues
  • Civic and Accord combine for over 34,000 units; 51% of Accord sales are hybrid-electric
  • Acura brand posts June sales of 10,357 units; keeping strong momentum with Q2 sales up 10.8% over Q1
  • Acura SUVs top 7,700 units with MDX topping 4,100 units, RDX over 3,300 units and ZDX sales of 255 units
  • Acura Integra tops 2,000 units for 5th straight month; maintains gateway model sales lead in 1st half of 2024
