Honda released its 2011 North American Environmental Report, which documents the environmental impact of the company's operations in the region. Honda improved its U.S. automobile fleet fuel efficiency by 4.1 percent, virtually eliminated waste to landfill from its manufacturing operations, added three new LEED-certified buildings for an industry-leading 11 'green' buildings, and attained voluntary CO2 reduction goals for 2010 and announced new goals for 2020.
