"We're proud to have celebrated Acura's fifth year of sponsorship at Monterey Automotive Week. More importantly, we were thrilled to showcase the new Acura products, for the road and the track, that demonstrate our strengthening focus on Precision Crafted Performance.

We kicked off last week with the public debut of the transformed 2018 Acura RLX, the third model in our lineup to follow our aggressive and performance-focused new styling direction, as we continued to deliver on the promise we made at the debut of the Acura Precision Concept, to rapidly reflect core elements of this new design throughout our product lineup.

Our performance evolution and growing presence in the world of motorsports was also accelerated last week with the debut of the Acura ARX-05 DPi prototype. Since its inception, Acura has enjoyed a great legacy of sports car racing success. You can't be a performance brand if you don't go racing, and so we're thrilled to rejoin Daytona Prototype racing with the legendary Roger Penske and Team Penske beginning with next year's Rolex 24.

The core character and authentic quality of Acura has really taken root in our products, our marketing, and our total approach to the Acura brand, and it's only going to get better from here."
