  • Monk and co-driver Stevan McAleer looking to move forward in Sunday's race

Gradient Racing's Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 duo of Sheena Monk and Stevan McAleer will be looking to move forward in Sunday's two-hour, 40-minute IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race from Canadian Tire Motorsport Park after qualifying ninth.

The Gradient Racing team made numerous changes in the two practice sessions preceding qualifying and landed on a setup that added both speed and drivability compared to how the car rolled off the truck upon arrival in Canada.

Without GTP cars in attendance, the #66 Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 is the lone Acura on the grid for Sunday's race.

Quotes
Sheena Monk (#66 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo22) Qualified 9th in GTD: "Started off the weekend really frustrating and still felt that very much through the morning and heading into qualifying. I kind of just went out there with no expectations. I was really willing to put it a little beyond my comfort zone and was fortunate enough to put something decent together. We got squeaked out one position right at the end, but overall it was good. I had a little bit more trust in the car and I'm just building on that. I'm hoping for a good race tomorrow."
