American Honda Announces 2004 Honda Element Pricing

The Element, Honda's multi-functional and versatile light duty truck, broke with the status quo when it debuted during the 2003 model year. For 2004, the Honda Element lineup adds a new LX trim level along with new comfort and convenience features for EX models. The Element goes on sale today at dealerships nationwide.

LX models equipped with Honda's Real Time 4WD' carry a price tag of $18,500 for manual and $19,300 for automatic.

Pricing for 2004 DX models is unchanged from last year. The Element DX equipped with Real Time 4WD is priced at $17,500 for manual and $18,300 for automatic transmissions.

The fully loaded Element EX front-wheel drive models start at $18,900 with a manual transmission and $19,700 with an automatic. The manual transmission EX version equipped with Real Time 4WD is priced at $20,300, and the automatic at $21,100. Driver and front passenger factory-installed side airbags are available on EX 2WD and 4WD models, and have an MSRP of $19,150 (2WD) and $20,550 (4WD) for the manual transmission and $19,950 (2WD) and $21,350 (4WD) for the automatic.

The Element EX adds new features for the 2004 model year. Not only has keyless entry been included for 2004, but also a passenger armrest has been added along with bungee cords to the driver-side and rear seat backs.

For the 2004 model year, Fiji Blue Pear exterior color replaces Eternal Blue Pearl. All Elements have a $490 destination and handling charge, the same as other Honda models.
