Honda Rearview Report: March 19 - March 25, 2016

"We wrote several new chapters in our 10th-generation Civic story in New York this week with the North American debut of the Civic Hatchback Prototype, the unveiling of our Civic Coupe-based Global Rallycross racecar, and a custom-designed Civic Sedan that celebrates the 15-year anniversary of our highly successful Civic Tour and its new headline artists, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.

We set out on this epic journey a year ago at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, where we promised that this would be the sportiest, most sophisticated and most ambitious Civic lineup in our best-selling model's 44-year history.  We are delivering on that promise with a series of new and sporty Civic variants.  And we upped the ante on that sporty performance with the announcement that all of our turbocharged Civic models – Sedan, Coupe and Hatch – will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission, starting this fall.

And our 10th-generation Civic story is nowhere near complete, with the production Civic Hatchback arriving later this year, and with Si variants and the Civic Type-R coming in 2017.  We look forward to sharing more of our epic Civic story in the months ahead."
