Daryl Bazemore is the assistant vice president of Sales Strategy for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), responsible for developing strategically aligned sales models and business plans by analyzing market opportunities from demand and supply perspectives.

Bazemore joined America Honda in 2008 as a district parts and service manager for Acura dealerships, supporting the business relations between dealers and manufacturers.

In April 2010, he was promoted to senior aftersales operations manager for the Washington, D.C. metro region, the largest Acura sales and service volume territory, responsible for managing several multifaceted aftersales operations.

In December 2013, Bazemore became the assistant zone manager of Business Development and Client Experience for the Acura Central Zone, leading the development, planning and implementation of Acura's retail business processes as well as the Acura Client Experience strategy.

In February 2015, he became the assistant zone manager of Retail Network Development for the Acura Midwest Zone, overseeing the update of the Acura brand standards through dealer facility developments.

In January 2018, Bazemore became an assistant manager at American Honda headquarters in Torrance, Calif., rotating among multiple business areas to gain experience within the Auto Sales Division. He assumed the role as national assistant manager of Sales Training, leading national product launches, training curriculum, information technology, policies and procedures, product experience events and auto shows for both the Honda and Acura brands.

In May 2019, he joined the Honda Sales Operations Division as a national assistant manager, responsible for establishing the national and regional sales objectives for the Honda automobile brand.

In April 2020, Bazemore became the assistant region manager of Retail Network Development, leading the implementation of the market representation plan to support the businesses of over 85 Honda and Acura dealers in the Central region.

In April 2023, he returned to American Honda after briefly serving another role within the auto industry, assuming the role as senior manager of Western Region Auto Sales, which includes over 340 Honda and Acura dealers across 16 states.

In June 2024, Bazemore was promoted to his current role as assistant vice president of Sales Strategy.

Bazemore is a U.S. Army veteran and was stationed in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany, which also afforded him the opportunity to pursue higher education with a concentration in Adult Education, accredited via the University of Maryland.
