"As a National Urban League board member, I was excited to have Honda so strongly represented at the NUL's 2019 Conference in Indianapolis, in the backyard of our Greensburg, Indiana auto plant, home to the Civic, CR-V and Insight hybrid.
One of the activities that really stood out for me was the NUL's Youth Leadership Summit, where more than 120 students visited our Greensburg auto plant and experienced for themselves all the new technologies and innovations taking place in a modern manufacturing environment.
It's my sincere hope that this experience and all the interactions at this year's conference will help spark in people new ideas and hope for their own futures, in manufacturing, engineering, STEM or wherever their own special dream takes them.
