Honda HBBX7550 Battery-Powered Commercial Backpack Blower Features & Benefits

Product Snapshot

The Honda HBBX7550 backpack blower is a commercial 58V battery-powered handheld tool engineered for professional cleanup, leaf removal and jobsite clearing. Built for landscape crews managing repeated daily cleanup work, the HBBX7550 combines high air volume, air speed and blowing force—750 CFM, 200 MPH and 33 N—to efficiently move dry grass clippings, wet leaves, mixed gravel and other stubborn debris in fewer passes. The all-new backpack blower is part of the Honda 58V battery and charger platform, which allows the same batteries and chargers to be used across multiple Honda handheld lawn and garden tools.

The recommended configuration uses two 58V 12Ah batteries to support longer cleanup jobs with fewer interruptions, with estimated no-load runtime of up to 35 minutes at maximum 750 CFM, up to 70 minutes at 600 CFM, and up to 10 hours at minimum 260 CFM. Comfort-focused features include cruise control to reduce trigger fatigue, a telescoping nozzle for adjustable reach and precise debris control, and an ergonomic padded harness with shoulder straps, back pad and breathable belt to distribute the load and support the operator throughout the workday. Battery-powered operation also provides practical jobsite benefits including easy starting, no gas or fuel mixing, less mess, quieter operation for residential and noise-sensitive properties, reduced vibration and zero exhaust emissions during use.

Features & Benefits

Performance

  • 750 CFM air volume, 200 MPH air speed and 33 N blowing force: Provides high-output clearing performance for moving dry grass clippings, wet leaves, mixed gravel and compacted or stubborn debris in fewer passes.
  • Brushless motor: Supports high torque and consistent power for demanding cleanup work.
  • Selectable air-speed levels and variable speed control: Four air-speed levels allow users to set the maximum available blowing output using the speed-up and slow-down buttons on the control handle, while variable trigger control lets operators adjust output within the selected level. This allows lower-output blowing even when a higher level is selected, while providing access to greater blowing power when needed.
  • Two-battery system and extended runtime: Features two battery bays and is recommended for use with two 58V 12Ah batteries, providing estimated no-load runtime of up to 35 minutes at maximum 750 CFM, up to 70 minutes at 600 CFM, and up to 10 hours at minimum 260 CFM.

Durability

  • Tool-only IPX4 weather resistance: Provides resistance to splashing water from any direction, helping protect the tool during outdoor use.
  • Battery cover: Helps protect the batteries from debris and moisture exposure during outdoor use.

Comfort & Convenience

  • Ergonomic padded harness: Shoulder straps, back pad and breathable belt help distribute the load and support operator comfort throughout extended cleanup work.
  • Cruise control: Reduces the need for continuous trigger pressure, helping limit finger fatigue during longer blowing tasks.
  • Telescoping nozzle: Lets operators adjust nozzle length to suit their body size and the application, supporting comfortable positioning and more precise cleanup.
  • LCD display panel: Includes indicators for battery level, air speed, cruise control mode and warnings, helping operators monitor tool status and settings during cleanup work.
  • Battery-powered operation: Delivers easy starting, quieter operation, reduced vibration, no gasoline or fuel mixing and zero exhaust emissions during use, improving day-to-day comfort for repeated professional cleanup work.
  • Shared 58V battery and charging platform: Allows compatible batteries and chargers to be used across multiple Honda handheld lawn and garden tools, simplifying battery management for crews using multiple tools.
