Honda HHTX1750 Battery-Powered Commercial String Trimmer Features & Benefits

Product Snapshot

The Honda HHTX1750 string trimmer is a commercial 58V battery-powered handheld tool designed for trimming, edging, finishing cuts, obstacle work and dense grass control. Built for professional landscape crews, the HHTX1750 combines a 17-inch cutting capacity, 1200W rated output, brushless motor, straight fixed aluminum shaft and selectable Eco and Normal operating modes to support both efficient finishing work and higher-output trimming in dense grass. The all-new trimmer is part of the Honda shared 58V battery and charger platform, which allows the same batteries and chargers to be used across multiple Honda handheld lawn and garden tools.

The recommended 58V 4Ah battery is selected to balance runtime, output, tool weight and operator comfort, with estimated no-load runtime of up to 45 minutes in Eco mode and up to 25 minutes in Normal mode. Battery-powered operation also adds practical jobsite benefits including easy starting, no gasoline or fuel mixing required, less mess, quieter operation for residential and noise-sensitive properties, reduced vibration and zero exhaust emissions during use.

Features & Benefits

Performance

  • Brushless motor and 1200W rated output: Delivers high torque and consistent power for professional trimming, edging and dense grass applications while supporting efficient battery-powered operation.
  • 17-inch cutting capacity: Covers more ground with each pass, helping crews complete route work, finishing cuts and perimeter maintenance efficiently.
  • Selectable Eco and Normal operating modes: Lets operators match output to the work—Eco for finishing cuts and grass just starting to grow, Normal for dense grass and more demanding trimming conditions.
  • Variable speed control: Provides precise speed and power modulation so users can conserve battery power in lighter conditions and increase output when vegetation becomes heavier.
  • Rapid line feed: Reduces downtime by allowing users to replace trimmer line quickly by feeding the line and twisting the head.
  • 58V 4Ah recommended battery: Supports up to 45 minutes of no-load runtime in Eco mode and up to 25 minutes in Normal mode, giving crews a practical battery pairing for trimming work.

Safety

  • Safety switch: Helps prevent accidental activation, requiring the safety switch to be engaged before the trigger can be engaged.
  • Visibility-focused deflector design: Helps reduce debris spread while preserving visibility to the cutting area, supporting more precise trimming around obstacles, fences, trees and landscape edges.

Durability

  • Straight fixed aluminum shaft: Provides commercial-grade strength for repeated daily use while supporting precise trimming and edging around route-work obstacles.
  • Tool-only IPX4 weather resistance: Provides resistance to splashing water from any direction for the tool, maintaining a strong moisture barrier.

Comfort and Convenience

  • Loop handle: Supports balanced maneuverability, helping operators trim accurately in tight spaces and around trees, fences and landscape features.
  • Grip design: Helps users maintain a secure, comfortable hold during repeated trimming tasks and directional changes.
  • Battery level indicator: Gives operators charge status so they can plan swaps, charging and route work with fewer interruptions.
  • Battery-powered operation: Delivers easy starting, quieter operation, reduced vibration, no gasoline or fuel mixing and zero exhaust emissions during use, improving day-to-day comfort for repeated professional work.
  • Shared 58V battery and charging platform: Allows compatible batteries and chargers to be used across multiple handheld lawn and garden tools, simplifying battery management for crews using multiple tools.
