Jennifer Thomas is the senior vice president of Corporate Affairs of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), where she oversees Government & Industry Relations, North American Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusion & Diversity. In addition, she serves as an operating executive of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Thomas joined Honda in 2019 as vice president of Government and Industry Relations, overseeing the company's legislative affairs, advocacy and public policy efforts for state and federal matters.

In September 2021, she became vice president of Corporate Affairs, with responsibility for Government & Industry Relations, North American Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusion & Diversity.

In April 2024, Thomas was promoted to her current role and was appointed as an operating executive of Honda Motor, as well as a member of both the Global Government Affairs Committee and Global Brand Communication Committee.

Thomas also serves as the company's top liaison to the White House, as well as the lead Honda representative to the company's major trade associations, including the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, Autos Drive America and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute.

Prior to joining Honda, Thomas was the vice president of Federal Government Affairs at the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers (now the Alliance for Automotive Innovation) where she played a role in the development and implementation of various auto industry policies. Those include the areas of environment, safety, logistics and trade-related issues.

Previously, Thomas served as manager of grassroots and legislative affairs with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).

Thomas has a B.A. in Psychology from The George Washington University.
