Steven Bailey is the vice president of Parts, Service & Technical Operations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. In this role, Bailey is responsible for overseeing the areas of automobile customer service, parts and accessories marketing, service marketing, parts inventory procurement and distribution, technical operations and the improvement of lifetime owner loyalty and customer satisfaction. He also is responsible for distribution of service parts and accessories for motorcycle, power equipment and marine products.

Bailey joined American Honda in 1991 in the Parts Division at the Troy, Ohio National Distribution Center where he held various roles within the distribution center operation. While assigned to the National Distribution Center, in 2006, Bailey played a key role in the development of a new Daily Parts Delivery System, which gave Honda and Acura dealers enhanced next day access to genuine Honda parts to better serve their customers.

In February 2007, Bailey was named manager of the Distribution Services and Planning Group, where he was assigned as the project lead in launching the new 500,000 square foot Midwest Consolidation Center in Ohio, which serves as a central hub for consolidating and distributing service parts from over 600 Suppliers.

In 2011, Bailey joined the Honda Service Parts Procurement Center as a senior manager, responsible for overseeing the purchasing of both local and imported service parts for the North American Region.

In 2015, Bailey became the vice president of American Honda Parts Operations, within the Parts, Service, and Technical Division. His duties included responsibility for all departments related to the purchase, supply, inventory, deployment, quality, and distribution of service parts, accessories and remanufactured parts for the Honda and Acura Dealer Network. 

In April 2017, Bailey became the vice president of the Product Regulatory Office for American Honda, with responsibility for working with the appropriate Honda Groups and Government Agencies in the areas of product safety, environmental, and energy reporting and compliance. 

In 2019, Bailey became vice president of Parts, Service & Technical Operations.
