Honda Rearview Report: October 5 - October 18, 2019

Less talk, more drive. You may have heard these words with the recent launch of our new Acura brand marketing campaign. It's a short statement that represents something so much bigger -- a renewed focus on what matters most — the driving experience — and Acura's commitment to testing ourselves on the street and at the track.

Less Talk, More Drive certainly rang true on the track throughout last weekend's final IMSA competition of 2019 at Road Atlanta, as Acura capped the racing season by taking home five championships with the Acura ARX-05 and NSX GT3 Evo. These championships are the result of the drive and determination of thousands of our associates who design and manufacture world-class vehicles and engines from the ground-up with the intent to please our customers and compete in the most extreme of environments on track.

If you call yourself a performance brand, you have to go racing. And we have done so since Acura was first established, winning our first major championship in 1987. But we started this current era just three years ago. To be here winning championships is incredible and humbling. I cannot say enough about Meyer Shank Racing, Acura Team Penske and everyone at Honda Performance Development, which embody the winning spirit.

Acura is a performance brand. We're here to win races, compete for championships and develop genuine performance vehicles for Acura customers. And we're not done yet.

Winning is contagious!
