Honda's Accord has a long history as one of the America's best-selling vehicles while presenting top environmental credentials. The Accord was the first production vehicle certified as an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) and Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV). The 2003 Accord continues the legacy by being one of the first vehicles to achieve Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) status. The Accord PZEV will also be available in certain northeastern states for the 2004 models year. The 2003 Accord was completely redesigned with more powerful 4- and 6-cylinder engines, upgraded interiors and added features, including anti-lock brakes on all models, while still delivering higher fuel economy and reduced emissions.
