The 2020 Honda Odyssey and Passport were both named to U.S. News & World Report's 2020 "Best Cars for Families" awards. The 2020 Odyssey won the Best Minivan category for the 10th year in a row, continuing a winning streak that began the inaugural year of the awards. Winning the Best 2-Row SUV category, the 2020 Honda Passport is new to the list. Since the debut of the "Best Cars for Families" awards in 2011, Honda is the winningest brand, with 28 vehicle category awards.
To choose its award winners, U.S. News & World Report examined 90 new cars, SUVs, and minivans from the 2020 model year, combining professional automotive reviews, safety and reliability ratings, seating and cargo volume, and the availability of family-friendly features. The vehicle with the highest composite score in each category is named the Best Car for Families.
