American Honda Continues Strong Start to 2024 with April Auto Sales Up 12.4% Year-to-Date

• American Honda April sales total 116,586 units, with balanced sales of cars and light trucks resulting in second best sales month of 2024

Honda

• Honda brand sales top 106,000 units in April, up 15.7% YoY with third straight month above 100,000 units 
• Honda electrified sales exceed 21,000 units with CR-V hybrid and Accord hybrid achieving 46% and 51% model mix respectively  
• All-electric Prologue posts initial sales as units began arriving at dealers in just the last few days of April
• CR-V sales top 30,000 units for third straight month
• HR-V sales top 13,000 units, up 45% YoY, for second best month of the year
• Pilot sales momentum continues with stable inventory and TrailSport model taking sales above 11,800 units
• Civic sales top 20,000 units for third straight month, and second best month of 2024, up over 35% YoY

Acura

• Acura brand sales top 10,500 units in April, with second best month of 2024
• Acura MDX and RDX remain strong with SUV sales nearing 8,000 units; RDX up over 44% YoY
• Integra continues to lead all premium gateway competitors in the New Year, with April sales topping 2,400 units
• First all-electric model from Acura, the 2024 ZDX and ZDX Type S begin arriving at dealers today
