IHS Markit selected two Acura vehicles for its 2016 Automotive Loyalty Awards. The 2016 Acura RDX won the Luxury Compact CUV segment, and the 2016 ILX earned the Luxury Traditional Mix-Size car category.
The Automotive Loyalty Awards focus on vehicles that demonstrate a manufacturer's ability to retain owners over repeat buying cycles, based on analyzed data of more than 17.5 million new vehicle registrations between October 2015 and September 2016.
